When Microsoft began its historic journey way back in 1981 with a project it termed Interface Manager and introduced as Windows to the market in 1983, the world did not envision its phenomenal success. However the company went on to launch Windows 1.0 in 1985 that really marked the beginning of history in the making. Today Microsoft has recently launched Windows 7 and has Windows 8 on the drawing board! With over 90% of the market share in its hands the company continues to move upward and onward.

For the planned new version of Windows there are new and vital features like cluster support and support for one way replication to be expected. The core engine is being revamped for a substantially more radical performance. Innovative features are expected to be added to Windows 8 to completely change file access in branch offices. The next version of the file server for Windows 8 is currently being worked on as well.

Microsoft is going all out to hire top of the line professionals to work on the Windows 8 project with two key identifiers in mind; participation in the architectural design, development and driving of the automated testing for management of the next generation file server. And actual planning and design of the Windows 8 file server. As the company openly admits that it does not have the automation necessary to meet the multi-machine model’s requirements, significant input will be needed to develop and test automation to bear out setup and configuration of the new server for Windows 8; manage configuration changes, diagnostics and user interface.

In the true inimitable style that is characteristic of Microsoft, the company is not pausing in its efforts to provide the world with newer, more innovative operating systems and Windows 8 is in the detailed discussion stage already.

The company has already announced the planned release of Windows 7’s successor and plans to give us features that include improved speed on an upgraded higher performance processor, faster shutdown time, an all new graphical user interface and file sharing system that will be easy to set up and use just by editing the registry.

Is the announcement of the planned Windows 8 operating system launch an attempt to forestall possible criticism of Windows 7? Difficult to say in light of the fact that Vista was announced to gloss over Windows XPs troubles but failed to deliver! Is Microsoft afraid of a similar outcome from Windows 7? Time will tell as the system has only recently been launched. Windows 8 is expected to become available around 2012 in three versions: trailer sub-premium version, double income home super version and corporate amex pro tastic version.

Following the launch of Windows 7, the market is now looking forward yet again to the launch of Windows 8 in 2012 and believes that the company will deliver as promised. If the rumored 128-bit architectural capacity planned for Windows 8 becomes a reality, we really have something outstanding to look forward to.

When we think of Microsoft the word ‘gigantic’ springs to mind! In actual fact the company has grown in leaps and bounds to capture a staggering 90 plus percent of the personal computers market. With the launch of the first Windows operating system to supersede MS-DOS, the company has gone on to launch several other versions of Windows, the most recent being Windows 7. You may find this hard to believe but Windows 8 is already being planned for a possible launch in 2012.

There is the possibility that an iA-128 bit full binary compatibility system, built by working backwards on the existing AI-64 bit instructions in hardware simulation for Windows 8 will put in an appearance. When the Windows Server 2008, the Windows 7 server version was released based solely on the 64-bit capability, the pundits anticipated that Microsoft would maintain the structure and release its next version with the same 64 bit capability. Microsoft however had different ideas and has taken a colossal step to plan the release of the 128 bit.

Some of the features that are being foreseen for the new Windows 8 operating system will be cluster support and one way data replication; a reworked core engine that is expected to give a more enhanced performance; radical changes to file access in branch offices and a brand new file server for Windows 8 are all on the cards.

Microsoft’s leading file replication engine the much hyped DFSR is an essential part of branch office strategy and file server role, having the ability to scale to thousands of servers and duplicate mind boggling amounts of date. DFSR technology will save MS-IT and the customer 80% or more of WAN bandwidth through the use of a highly advanced on-the-wire differential compression technology.

Well, its time to take a look at what the public expects from the new Windows 8 operating system. For the people who love their monitors and use dual monitors the existing core operating systems presently available do not fully support management of dual monitors. While you can get help from Microsoft to manage multiple monitors, an in-built management system is expected from the next generation Windows 8. Better resolution, configuration of existing drivers and operating system updates to make the management of dual monitors possible are all being wished for

Microsoft has stated that the new Windows 8 will focus on dual monitors as the concept has become increasing popular and the hardware vendors are going all out to push the company in this direction.

The Windows 8 screenshot envisaged shows no browser, unlike the Windows 7 version, which has a browser added. Windows 8 it is planned will have very little on the screen due to the fact that everything will be done online in the Windows 8 cloud.

It’s still early days yet, but Windows 8 references are suggesting a Windows 8 server with an even more enhanced datacenter operating system. Microsoft is pushing forward towards offering private cloud hosting in addition to the existing public cloud hosting. The possibilities are endless and we have much to look forward to and much to expect from the new Windows 8 operating system.

Microsoft Windows is one of the most popular operating systems used by computer users. Windows makes it easy to use and store information on your computer, as well as use such features as downloading videos and playing music. Because of the widespread use and popularity of Windows, Microsoft continues to upgrade their operating systems by introducing newer and updated versions of previous Windows programs.
The latest program to hit the market is Windows 7, which came out at the end of October. Windows 7 promises its users quicker access, less wait times and better compatibility. To make the upgrade is easy; simply purchase the new Windows 7 program from a local electronic store and download it onto your computer. Or, if you have purchased a new computer recently, check with the terms of service to see if you qualify for a new copy of Windows 7.
While Windows 7 is the newest Microsoft program to hit the shelves, users and computer gurus alike are already planning for Microsoft 8. Windows 8 is supposed to be a brand new operating system that uses the latest technology to provide an ultimate experience for its users.
There is little information available about Windows 8 since it hasn’t been produced yet. The information that is on the Internet is provided by users that hope to see particular changes. These users are taking the opportunity to use their imagination to create themes and wallpapers for Windows 8.
There are some users that have begun using their artwork to design wallpapers for Windows 8. These wallpapers are made to fit the contemporary and modern look of the new program. The Windows 8 wallpapers feature blue and black colors, along with the Microsoft Windows logo.
The perk to these wallpapers are that they are newer and more unique than other wallpapers, giving each user a wide range of wallpapers to choose from to complete the look of their computer.
The best part about the new Windows 8 wallpapers is that they can be downloaded from the Internet and used on your computer today. To get started, simply use the Internet to search for Windows 8 wallpaper. A number of search results will come up, and you can click on the sites to see what they have to offer.
There are different artists out there, so the wallpapers will vary from site to site. However, the new wallpapers share some of the same characteristics, such as rich blue and black colors, contemporary wavy designs and the Microsoft Windows logo.
When you browse through the available designs and find one you like, simply right click on your mouse. You may then click where it says “Set as Background”. Your computer will verify that you indeed want this wallpaper to be set as your background, so click yes and you will now have a new Windows 8 wallpaper on your computer desktop. If you decide that you do not like the current wallpaper you selected, simply click on another wallpaper and choose that one instead.
Because these are just examples of users’ work and not actual wallpapers that come with Windows 8, you will notice that the wallpapers are not as crisp and vibrant in color as they should be. Once these wallpapers are implemented into the Windows 8 operating system, their features will be upgraded to the highest quality settings.

As computer users await the arrival of Microsoft 8, people can enjoy the free wallpapers for their computer in the meantime.

Windows 8 screenshots look plain amazing, it is obvious that they have come a long way since Windows 7. Microsoft is currently looking for a Senior Program Manager, to finish out the Windows 8 project. Other then that the IIS team is recreating how internet technology bulk is provided for costumers. Windows 8 screenshots show a PC user sitting at his computer, hands on the keyboard and instead of looking into a monitor, he is gazing upon a whole city.
Windows 8 screenshots show how Windows is making it easier for IT pros, developers, and hosts consume internet technology. Windows 8 makes it easier to consume internet technology by handling end-to-end experiences, deployment and development. Windows 8 screenshots show a new development on solutions to prior problems and also new features and equipment. Windows 8 screenshots are definitely taking over the internet and starting a lot of hype.
For a while everyone thought, that there would be no Windows 8. Now that Windows 8 screenshots have leaked, there is no question wether or not the project will be finished, it’s just a question of when it will be finished. Windows Vista was thought of as the last Windows upgrades and that Vista would just be constantly revised. This scared a lot of Windows users and even had them looking in different directions. Now that several intriguing Windows 8 screenshots have surfaced, all those PC users are coming plus a new crowd, tired of the hassle of other products. The new crowd is straying away from other products because their features do not suit user needs. The other operating systems are cheaper, but not better and this is where Windows must sort out a bug. Prior Windows 8 users and the new crowd all commented on the Windows 8 screenshots, saying that the current estimated price, which is almost $200, is too much and must go down to see sales go up.
The Windows 8 screenshots have a few details about the new software, but not much. On Halloween Robert Morgan, who has been with microsoft for 8 years, revealed that Windows 8 will not have 32 bit available. Although there is no 32 bit, developers have included 128 bit availability, this was highly commented on in the Windows 8 screenshots section.
There is much to be expected from Windows, now that these Windows 8 screenshots and rumors are everywhere. Windows is teaming up with some big names on the project, AMD, Intel, IBM, and HP being just a few of them. It has been a long time since Windows has worked with this many names on one project. It has been a long time since Windows released a project of this proportions in general. Windows 8 screenshots have some absurd, zany images, but they are on point none the less. In one of the other Windows 8 screenshots, there is a picture of a bed room window and the window looks like a computer monitor, but the monitor/window has steel bars on it. This is a screen shot representing the fact that windows 8 will have a superior security system, making it almost impossible for new wave hackers to get into your information.
If we can see the price drop a little, Windows 8 will do phenomenal. This is the most highly anticipated software for then next three years. Vista did not do as well as expected, let’s hope that these WIndows 8 screenshots don’t mislead us. Windows has always been very easy to use, yet very reliable at the same time. Windows must not stray from those features or they will not keep the number one spot.

Windows 7 may have just been released, but Microsoft is already hard at work on Windows 8 and the new developments are generating a lot of buzz. Windows 8 is the next generation of Windows client based operating systems and is expected to be released some time in 2012. Windows 8 is expected to be developed according to the vision of Steven Sinofsky, President, Windows and Windows Live Division – making it an evolution of Windows 7 a release Sinofsky also presided over.

According to Microsoft, the release of Windows 7 and Windows 8 are a move toward the more modern understanding of software releases. Rather than big new operating systems, Microsoft is moving toward smaller more iterative releases, thus the change in the product naming convention to Windows + the number of the release. According to new job postings, Microsoft is looking for new blood to join its Information Services team to develop new Windows 8 features

. Further postings are asking for software engineers to debug iterations of the new OS and work on the next version of Microsoft’s Distributed File System Management. Windows 8 is also expected to provide support for 128-bit architecture, according to a status update from a current Microsoft employee, this is a departure from industry expectations for support for 64-bit only and an end to support for 32-bit. Windows 7 currently provides support for both 32-bit and 64-bit, however the Windows Server 2008 R2, was the first Windows Server release to be 64-bit only, leading experts to believe that Windows 8 would follow suit and provide 64-bit only. If this is true, it seems Microsoft is looking further ahead with Window 8.

In what may be an advance of Windows7 HomeGroup functionality, Windows 8 is expected to include more networking and collaboration features. Microsoft is also forging new relationships with existing partners Intel, AMD, HP, and IBM which may speak to the direction of collaboration and networking in Windows 8, since all of these partners have collaborative offerings. Windows Live Mail is also expected to have a much bigger role in Windows 8. Windows Live Mail currently reports 40 million users, coupled with the several hundred million users of Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger.

Microsoft recently requested a program manager to work on integrating Live Mail into the Windows 8 operating system. Other requests ask for engineers to work on further incorporation of Windows Live in Windows 8. Major improvements to the BrancheCache feature rolled out in Windows 7 are slated for Windows 8. The feature, which stores intranet and server data locally for quicker access between users, is expected to see increased functionality in the second version included in Windows 8. The Windows 8 Server is also expected to have a new feature – Distributed File System Replication (DFSR).

This new capability is a multi-master replication engine designed for folder synchronization across several servers. More capabilities in Windows 8 are expected to keep leaking out as the OS continues through its development process. Obvservers are already watching the torrents for the first initial builds, screenshots and videos of Windows 8. Industry analysts are also pleased to see more forward thinking coming from Microsoft, however a few would like to see more focus on patches and fixes for the current errors in Windows 7.
